Addiction Couples Therapy
Max is a therapist with over 40 years of experience who wanted to start a personal therapy practice on his own, and he hired me to build him a website based on a referral from one of my past clients.
He didn't know how to get clients on his own besides referrals, so I provided several options to help him reach new patients.
Process
There were several competitors that I wanted a better understanding of, so I did a competitive analysis to gain some insights about the target market and industry.
Testimonials
I also asked him if anyone had left him reviews, and I was glad to hear that he had a lot!
I wanted to highlight these anonymous testimonials on the landing page to provide some insight into what Max does and how he's helped these couples.
Engagement
On the front page, I recommended offering a free 20 minute phone consultation to couples looking for therapy as a primary call to action.
Another solution was to offer a free email survey through a popup. Max offers a comprehensive 50 question survey as part of his intensive couples weekend. The survey is a condensed version.
Advertisement
Another way I was able to drive traffic was to encourage him to run some ads with articles he had written with an accompanying picture. The content marketing was very effective and it drove much more traffic to his site, leading to several inquiries.
Additional Work
Max mentioned he needed new headshots for the website, and I was able to subcontract a photographer for the job.
He's an avid tennis player as well and he wanted to include that in the website.
Conclusion
Throughout the project, my client had a lot of things he wanted to do, but some weren’t technically feasible. I was able to break down the problems he was trying to solve and suggest several options for him to choose from.
As a result, I was able to build a website that perfectly fit Max's needs and he was very happy with the results!
In the next couple months he reported he had already doubled the amount of calls and consultations booked.
